Richard Sealock was born & raised in Decatur Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. Born to
musical parents, his father played guitar and both parents sang country music.
Richard began acoustic playing guitar at age 10 and, at 12 years he was singing as well.
He soon picked up electric guitar and mandolin.
Richard's career was strongly influenced by the Beatles, Crosby, Stills & Nash, country
music, Blues & Rock and Roll. Early in his career he played solo, duos & with bands in
the Atlanta area.
Today, Richard lives and plays in the Colorado Springs area with The BadDogs Band, as
well as, continuing as a solo artist. His music career is complimented by his technical
knowledge of stringed instruments. He has repaired and restored instruments for 26
years and continues this work in Colorado.
Richard lives in Falcon with his wife, Lori, and his two chlidren, Taylor and Hannah.
They plan to stay in Colorado and eventually retire in the Rocky Mountains.
