born in san diego
took up acoustic guitar, banjo, harmonica during the sixties folk movements influenced by
everyone from pete seger to the reverend gary davis, huddie leadbetter , peter paul and mary,
ry cooder...etc.
moved to lake tahoe and met the pedal steel guitar(1974+/-)
next seven years touring with LIVE WIRE CHOIR mostly in the northwest digesting and
performing eclectic mixtures of appalachian, bluegrass and western swing music.
enthusiastically received by the state of montana, put out two albums...(remember vinyl?)
returned to lake tahoe and played nearly every damned casino from reno to salt lake city.(+/-
1982-89) played "Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" at Harrahs Tahoe with Susan Anton as lead
actress.(1990)
did a four month gig with the Department of Defense on their pacific rim tour.(1989) had
another show at Sierra Tahoe (formerly Sahara) called 'HIgh Country Rock" that traveled to
Osaka, Japan for a month(1993).
and still another fully produced, choreographed etc. show called '"Red Hot Country" two years
running at the Reno Hilton....(1997-98).
worked for the Leep Agency of Reno as a hired gun for innumerable functions. retired to the
other side of the curtain for about six years as a stage tech for Caesars Tahoe...moved to colo
springs. (8/06).
